Brisket is always best when made a day in advance. Hannukah is tomorrow night and I am not making one, but two briskets this year. Why you ask? Levi volunteered my brisket for the Multi Cultural Feast at his school! Woo Hoo! Just a side note, the leftovers turns into a 2nd meal – Tacos! Shred the meat and make a batch of these pickled onions and dinner is almost as good as our neighborhood Oaxacan restaurant.
For those of you celebrating the “festival of lights” may this year bring light and love into your life.
